...but I really feel like it needs asking.
What do strawberries usually taste like to you? (Fresh, ripe strawberries, obviously, not out of season ones.) Like, are they mostly sweet or mostly tart? Follow-up question: do they ever hurt your lips or teeth when you bite them?
Please answer seriously. I had no idea until yesterday that strawberries don't taste tart to everyone, so I'm trying to figure out whether or not I'm allergic to them.

Strawberries are sickly sweet to me. They hurt my teeth but my teeth are pretty sensitive.

Well they taste like combination of sweet and tart to me, think like a sweetart only strawberry flavored. And if their cold they do hurt my teeth and gums, but then again anything cold hurts my teeth and gums. I read somewhere that tongues and tastebuds are like fingerprints, each persons is for the most part diffrent. Some people have a larger amount of sweet/sour/salty taste buds and some people do not. Which is why people taste things diffrently from others.

^Yeah, my sister mentioned that they taste tart to her too, but I'm still not sure why they hurt my mouth so much.
